On May 1, 2023 at Yad Vashem – The World Holocaust Remembrance Center in Jerusalem the second edition of Jakub Stendig’s (Father of Gustawa Stendig-Lindberg and Grandfather of Miriam Felicia Lindberg) book “Plaszów: The Last Station of the Jews of Krakow” was launched.

Prof. Dan Michman, Head of the International Institute for Holocaust Research at Yad Vashem and Incumbent of the John Najmann Chair for Holocaust Studies at Bar-Ilan University presented the opening remarks.

Eva Ariela Lindberg, Author and Artist and Prof. Varda Gross-Tsur, Director of the Child Development Unit and the Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) Clinic of Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem (both who are granddaughters of the author of the book, Jakob Stendig) shared their insights about the legacy of their grandfather.
